-the task bar vanish? How come you can’t see the taskbar and your screen resolution is all wrong? -Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) without the ability to restart or shut down the computer?
are you just tired of the same old restart (start menu -> shutdown -> restart)? -or perhaps you simply desire to appear cool while you’re among other people? or because you’re bored and want to pull a fast one on them? How do I restart using the command prompt or the DOS command?
Step 1: Open CMD
invoke the command prompt (CMD):
where you type: Press and hold the Windows logo key until the Run menu appears.
Press the Enter key to launch the DOS command prompt.
I recommend this method to open CMD if you wish to see what you’re doing even when your screen resolution is off. There are other ways to launch CMD as well.
Step 2: Command Line to Restart
If you want to start over, write this (carefully avoiding spaces): end of processing

The command “/r restart” will cause the device to restart, while “/t 0” will set the timer to zero seconds. /t 0 represents zero seconds and /t 1,440,000 (400 hours) is an option available to you. [added] no Case in point: The system will restart in one minute after the shutdown or 60 seconds. Turn off the power and wait three minutes for the computer to boot up again.
