The Culling Game arc in the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen is on a high note right now and there are very few competitors left. Even among them, there are very few who are from the modern era. Most of them are relics of the ancient era and have come here to find the strongest.
Over in the Sendai region, the 2nd strongest sorcerer from the modern era is competing against Kurourishi, the king of insects in the search of 400 points. He has already defeated Dhruv and Yuta is pretty confident that he could take on this insect creature. Let’s discuss who is going to win between Yuta Okkotsu vs Kurourishi.
Why Did Kurourishi Attack Yuta Okkotsu?
In a fight earlier against Dhruv, Kurourishi felt a threat for his life, hence he decided to settle and hibernate in one of the colonies of Dhruv for a while. However, when Okkotsu defeated Dhruve and acquired his stadium, the source of food for Kurourishi diminished.
For Kurourishi, the food is quite essential. If he is unable to consume it, he won’t be able to produce any more insects. And since he largely fights with the use of insects, it would put him in jeopardy if his main source of fighting isn’t available.
Hence, as a notion of survival, Kurourishi attacked Yuta and now is engaged in a battle with him. His purpose is to kill and devour Yuta so that he could produce more insects. Okkotsu on the other hand just wants to gather those 400 points and take care of Kurourishi.
Why Yuta Considers Kurourishi Dangerous?
To put it simply, Kurourishi doesn’t differentiate between normal civilians and sorcerers. To him, both of them are equal and his source of food. It is quite evident from the recent chapter that he doesn’tcare even if he has to kill a normal civilian.
Because of this, Yuta doesn’t want people like Kurourishi to go outside and roam free because it will pose threat to the people of Earth. Hence, he wants to defeat this creature right here and right now, so that the outside world doesn’t suffer from the consequences of Culling Game.
Yuta vs Okkotsu – Who Will Win?
Yuta didn’t have much trouble defeating Dhruv. However, Kurourishi is a whole different entity. He is more brutal and ruthless. Furthermore, Kurourishi uses cockroaches in large numbers which are filled with cursed energy.
The large volume of insects is pretty dangerous and Yuta understands that very well. If he allows Kurourishi to get hold of him, the insects will devour him quite quickly. Hence, it is necessary for him to reduce the number of produced insects gradually and bring Kurourishi to the brink of exhaustion.
If Kurourishi is no longer able to produce any more insects, it will be an end for him. Yuta will try to kill all his insects one by one and then deliver the final blow which would be more than sufficient to kill the insect King. In a nutshell, it looks like another easy victory for the protagonist of the spin-off series.
