United Cajun Navy Survey Damaged Buildings, Overturned Boats, in Alabama

The United Cajun Navy, also a search-and-rescue volunteer team, studied the damage due to Hurricane Sally at Orange Beach, Alabama, early September 16, together with movie showing ruined buildings, overturned ships and flood. The National Hurricane Center reported the storm made landfall near Gulf Shores, just west of Orange Beach, at 4:45 am local time and could bring”historical and catastrophic flooding in areas of southern Florida and southern Alabama.” Additionally, it warned of a”life threatening storm surge” in the Alabama shore to the western Florida panhandle.
