Tyler Skaggs Death Case, Grand Jury Indicts Ex-Angels Employee Over Pills

Breaking News

Ex-Angels staffer Eric Kay Was indicted by a grand jury in Texas on 2 counts at the death of pitcher Tyler Skaggs, Courtroom docs show.

Kay — that worked together with all the Angels in press relations for 24 decades — had formerly been charged with prosecutors with supply of their fentanyl that resulted in Skaggs’ overdose departure back in June 2019.

However, the situation has since gone into a grand jury — that has handed down to a 2-count indictment from Kay.

In accordance with the files, Kay was indicted on 1 count of conspiracy to have fentanyl with the goal to distribute and one count of distribution of a controlled substance leading to death.

Unclear why the situation moved into a grand jury later prosecutors had announced an official complaint against Kay. We are working with it.

As we mentioned previously, prosecutors promise to possess a text dialog involving Kay and Skaggs in the night of their pitcher’s Infection.

At the market, Kay asks”Hoe [sic] many?” … to that Skaggs reacted,”Only a couple like 5″

Law enforcement officers also have stated they consider Kay and Skaggs were talking medication… clearly suggesting that the market demonstrates Kay is the person who provided the pitcher using the deadly dose of these tablets.

Law enforcement claimed Kay supplied”30-milligram oxycodone tablets” into Skaggs on several events .

Skaggs had been discovered dead in his hotel room in Southlake, TX at July 2019… hours prior to the Angels were made to play with the Texas Rangers.

He had been just 27.
