Australian actress Claire Holt has welcomed her first daughter.
The Vampire Diaries star welcomed her second child with husband Andrew Joblon, taking to Instagram to share the arrival of little Elle after nearly 30 hours of labour.
“She flew into the world and expanded our hearts,” Holt wrote.
“We are so grateful for our healthy baby and cannot wait for her to meet her big brother.”
Joblon wrote that the Aussie actress “again proved to me she is my hero and a true warrior”.
“Thank you so much for birthing this sweet little girl in a challenging year,” he captioned his Instagram post.

Holt rose to fame in Australia after starring as Emma Gilbert on hit TV show H20: Just Add Water, before appearing in Mean Girls 2, Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals.
The birth comes a month after Holt candidly shared her concerns for her mental health with her nearly 6,000,000 followers.
“The recovery, the sleep deprivation, feedings, 2 kids 17 months apart, a pandemic… it’s a lot,” she wrote.
“I know how lucky I am and I know each stage is temporary, but I’m still feeling stressed about how I’ll cope mentally.

I think it’s important to share that I have always had help… that being said, I still felt overwhelmed, embarrassed/guilty that I was struggling, and not at all like myself after I gave birth.”
The pair welcomed son James Joblon in 2019, a year after she announced that she had experienced a miscarriage during her first pregnancy.
Holt miscarried at 11 weeks, on husband Joblon’s birthday in 2018, and says the experience was “the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life”.
“The first thing I said was, ‘where’s the flicker? where’s the heartbeat?”
Camera IconHolt previously shared her concerns for her mental health with her nearly 6,000,000 followers.
Speaking with Mini Magazine last year, the 32-year-old actress shared that losing her first child left her feeling “broken and ashamed”.
When she fell pregnant with James five months after her miscarriage, Holt said she felt “on edge” for the first trimester and was hesitant to share the news publicly.
“It was quite difficult to connect with the baby,” Holt admitted.
