Sir Elton John adored spending”daily” of this coronavirus lockdown along with his loved ones.
The 73-year old celebrity and David Furnish have been side during the outbreak, and Elton states spending quality time together with his spouse and their kids – Elijah, seven, along with Zachary, nine – was the sole”silver lining” in the continuing crisis.
He shared:”The wonderful thing about lockdown, along with the silver lining, is that I have spent a lot time with Zachary, both Elijah and David.
“I don’t have to spend time together anyhow, and since March if we left Australia we have been in full lockdown either in Los Angeles or at Britain and we have spent each and every day together and it has been fantastic.”
Meanwhile, the Elton also remembered his friendship with the late John Lennon, showing that they became close buddies in 1974 after building a wager.
The singer revealed that John consented to join him on stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City when their tune’Whatever Gets You thru the Night’ was able to top the charts.
Talking about his connection with the audio superstar, Elton advised’The 1 Display’:”John arrived on stage with us in Madison Square Garden in new york around Thanksgiving 1974. I made a wager with him since I staged his album’Whatever Gets You Through The Night’, also I played piano .
“I said,’Listen, when it gets to number one you have got to come on stage together’, and it’d reach number one he did, and that he had not been on stage because the Peace concert at Toronto, rather than in New York because the Beatles played Shea Stadium.”
