Today, Samsung will add its all-new Galaxy A9 (2018) to its midrange smartphone series in India. The launch event will begin at 12.30 pm in India. The company earlier unveiled the smartphone in an event in Malaysia in October.
The major attraction of the Galaxy A9 (2018) is the rear four camera setup. Regarding the rear camera setup, Samsung has used four different kinds of sensors and has provided a mode which will let users click four photos at the same time with each picture being clicked from each rear camera.
The rear camera setup from top to bottom has been arranged in the following manner: ultrawide, telephoto, main, and depth. The ultrawide lens used in the rear camera set up by Samsung will capture more objects in the frame as compared to the regular lens.
Talking about the detailed specifications of the phone, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a 6.3-inch full HD+ display (1080×2220 pixels) with an 18.5:9 display aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and has an internal storage of 128GB. With a massive 3800mAh battery, the smartphone supports fast charging too. The smartphone is available in two variants — one with 6GB RAM and the other with 8GB RAM.
The major attraction of the Galaxy A9 is the rear camera setup. At the rear, the phone boasts a four-camera setup which includes a 24-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 10-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8-megapixel 120-degree Ultra Wide camera with an f/2.4 aperture as well. On the other hand, the smartphone has a 24-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture front shooter.
Globally, the price of Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is EUR599 (roughly Rs. 49,100), and the same is expected for the Indian market.
