The nonprofit Electronic Privacy Information Center has filed a complaint about HireVue into the US Federal Trade Commission, also AI Now has criticised the provider earlier.
HireVue stated it hadn’t seen that the AI Now report also didn’t answer inquiries about the complaint or the criticism.

At a conference call before the report’s launch, AI Currently founders Kate Crawford and Meredith Whittaker reported that harmful applications of AI are multiplying despite extensive consensus on moral principles since there aren’t any consequences for breaking them.
