A six-year-old Toronto woman was reunited with her stolen birthday gift, an 11-month-old puppy called King.
On the day of Aug. 5, Elena Gonzalez was walking across Gihon Spring Drive, close Steeles Avenue and Martin Grove Roadalong together with her mom, her brother and both off-leash dogs.
The mom, Cassandra Gonzalez, told CTV News Toronto on Thursday their puppies were a brief distance before them after she switched her back to aid her son back to his stroller. She said that is when she noticed a vehicle drive up”really quickly.”
According to authorities, a guy in a dark four-door automobile pulled up along with the puppies, got out of their car and chose them up. The guy then got back to his car and fled the region, officials stated.
Since then, Elena Gonzalez was asking her mom to carry her out every day to search for King.
” On Friday, the family had been reunited with King following the American Bulldog-Doberman combination was found by means of a citizen, authorities said.
“He had been brought to the vet and has been in great health,” officials stated.
Police added that the investigation is still continuing and no charges are laid.
