NEW YORK — Federal prosecutors declared charges Wednesday against three men accused of threatening and debilitating girls who’ve accused R&B singer R. Kelly of misuse, such as one individual suspected of setting fire to your car in Florida.
A longtime friend of the indicted singer provided to cover a sufferer $500,000 to maintain her out of co-operating from Kelly’s prosecution, police said, though a director and advisor of Kelly threatened to launch sexually explicit photos of a girl that sued Kelly.
The Grammy-award winning performer has denied abusing anyone, and it has pleaded not guilty to dozens of federal and state sexual misconduct prices in Illinois, Minnesota and New York.
The prices vary from sexual assault to going a racketeering scheme geared toward providing Kelly with women. Kelly is accused of having unprotected intercourse with a woman in 2015 without revealing he had rosemary.
Prosecutors explained a third person convicted of threatening witnesses as being connected to some former Kelly publicist. They stated Michael Williams, 37, of Valdosta, Georgia, went to Florida in June and put fire to a SUV parked outside a house where among Kelly’s sufferers was remaining.
Williams also ran Internet searches for”that the detonation properties of petroleum and gas, see intimidation and see tampering and states which don’t have extradition together with the United States,” government said at a press release.
