One Piece Chapter 1041 Recap
In One Piece chapter 1041 recap, the name of the chapter is Komurasaki and it briefs us about the situation of various characters throughout Onigashima.
Komurasaki
We go back to Momonosuke and hear from here where he stopped. Previously, Momonosuke mentioned about void Century and how Zunesha was punished for the crime he committed all those years ago. Furthermore, we learned that he was a Nakama of JoyBoy.
Momonosuke tells Yamato that Oden ripped off all the important information from the logbook. Hence, they possibly can’t find out anything about One Piece as they were expecting. There has to be a particular reason for why Oden did this. Hopefully, we will learn about it soon.
New Orders
In the previous chapter, we saw CP0 agents trying to avoid fighting Izou since they had higher priority. However, Izou decides to stop them and have a go at the duo. Back to the action, from the leaks, we have confirmed that Izou and the masked CP0 agent did fight.
However, the result didn’t fall in anyone’s favor. Both of them KO’d each other and hence got knocked out. On the other hand, we learn that CP0’s boss has got new orders from Gorosei. This time, the order is to eliminate Strawhat Luffy at any cost.
Hydra
Several panels of the chapter also portray the current state of various characters throughout Onigashima. Most of them are just recovering as the fights are almost over. We get back to the rooftop where Luffy and Kaido are fighting against each other.
Kaido has a short flashback where he remembers his first interaction with Big Mom when he was a mere 15-year-old boy and Big Mom said that she wants to become King of the seas. Back to the present, Luffy says that he will kick Kaido out of Wano and use his new special attack 9 Headed Dragon.

Kaido’s Backstory

Now an even bigger question has surfaced related to WG’s intentions. Why do they want to eliminate Luffy on the priority? It seems like they’ve abandoned kidnapping Nico Robin and now their target has shifted to Luffy. Hopefully, we will find it in the next chapter.
