North York girl arrested after supposedly being”unruly” on flight: RCMP


A girl is in custody after being”unruly” on a trip from Calgary to Toronto on Monday night, RCMP say.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., officials responded to a disturbance phone on a plane which landed at Winnipeg, based on Manitoba RCMP.

The flight departed from Calgary and had a stopover at Winnipeg before going into the final destination of Toronto.

When officers arrived at the gate that they had been advised that a girl turned into”unruly” after she discovered that the flight was quitting in Winnipeg, authorities said.

Last evening, #rcmpmb eliminated a 34yo female, out of North York, ON, by a trip coming from Calgary & jump to Toronto w/ a stopover at Wpg later she became uncontrollable. She had been detained & stays in police custody and could face fees of Causing a Disturbance & Mischief.

Mounties got to the airplane and asked the girl to leave the aircraft.

Authorities said she finally agreed but continued “belligerent” behavior towards officers as well as the flight team.

The girl allegedly continued to be”unkind and belligerent” as slaves escorted her from the airplane, authorities said.

On Tuesday, authorities said that an arrest was created in relation to the event.

A 34-year old girl from North York is currently in police custody and faces charges for causing a disruption and mischief, authorities said.
