Louisville Police Arrest More Than 120 Protesters After Night of Breonna Taylor Demonstrations

Police detained at 127 individuals in Louisville, Kentucky, through protests after a determination in the event of Breonna Taylor on September 23, according to local press reports. Former Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officer Brett Hankison was charged with three counts of wanton endangerment in the first level. Hankison was fired by the police force June 23 because of his part in the shooting death of Taylor. Sgt Jonathan Mattingly and Det Myles Cosgrove, another two officers who fired their weapons while attempting to perform a search warrant on Taylor’s flat in the wee hours of March 13, weren’t billed. This movie was taken out of a livestream from the LMPD. It reveals large quantities of protesters sitting either side of a street outside a police construction surrounded by officials.
