Thurston Moore has shared with a brand new tune called’Canteloupe’ — hear it under.
The former-Sonic Youth impresario’s newest single comes before the launch of his newest album’From The Fire’, that is due out September 25 through his Daydream Library Series tag.
The record is set to include contributions from a number of Moore’s regular collaborators, such as My Bloody Valentine’s Deb Googe on bass and backing vocals, together with James Sedwards online guitar. Other contributors include Negativland’s Jon Leidecker, Jem Doulton along with Moore’s former Sonic Youth bandmate Steve Shelley.
Following a month discussing’HASHISH’ — the record’s first single — Moore has released’Canteloupe’, a piece of rip-roaring poetry which penalizes him sing:”We are bright blue blue to orange/ Dripping fire songs down your spine ”

In May, Moore shared a brand new tune titled’May Daze’, which likewise featured Shelley, Googe and Sedwards. It was listed in The Church at London by Paul Epworth, that made Moore’s 2017 record’Rock n’ Roll Consciousness’.
Moore’s final record under his own name was 2019’s’Spirit Counsel’.
Meanwhile, the Sonic Youth have discovered a rare live cassette from their writings, uploading it into Bandcamp. The record, entitled’Blastic Scene’, has been recorded in a live show at Lisbon at 1993.
Sonic Youth published’Blastic Scene’ within a licensed bootleg at 1995. But only 1,300 copies were pressedand the record was only available in Portugal. Fans are now able to buy the document sensibly for 8. 00 about the team’s Bandcamp website.
