Post MAPPA’s anime adaptation of the manga of the same name, Jujutsu Kaisen has created an international buzz. Its manga series too has found prominence and became the magazine’s flagship series for quite some time. With the continuation of the Culling Game arc, it is going to remain the crown of one of the top shonen series right now.
Jujutsu Kaisen is an ongoing manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It revolves around a young high school student by the name of Yuji Itadori who finds himself engulfed in the world of Sorcerers. Let’s discuss Jujutsu Kaisen’s chapter 175 breakdown.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 175 Breakdown – The Swordplay
Seeing Fester Sword come out from Kurourishi, Yuta Okkotsu brings out his sword to fight off the enemy standing in front of him. He strikes at him several times, however, the insect King manages to block it. Similarly, Kurourishi strikes at Yuta but he manages to evade the attacks.
The battle goes into a stalemate for a while with neither party going down. One of the strikes from Kurourishi hit Yuta hard, however, he manages to block it by using his sword. But to his surprise, an eyeball comes out and bites on his shoulder.
Yuta manages to sway away Kurourishi and doesn’t pay much attention to the shoulder injury he got earlier. Right now, he is focused on the fighting and suddenly he detects two people who are watching their fight in the vicinity.
Insect Infection
Yuta reckons that he can utilize the positive energy from the reverse Cursed technique and use it on Kurourishi since he’s a cursed spirit. He had done the same with Itadori and he knows it would work. However, the two people watching their fight are causing him to worry.
He doesn’t want them to know what he’s capable of, probably because at some point, he will have to fight them. Hence he doesn’t want to reveal his Trump cards. Since Rika is also protecting the stadium, he also doesn’t want to reveal that to them.
Yuta continues his sword fight with Kurourishi and Kurourishi asks him why he doesn’t want him to kill them. Yuta doesn’t have any answers since he’s dealing with a cursed spirit. He is caught off guard when a creature starts growing out of the shoulder that got wounded earlier.
Distorted State of War
With the emergence of this creature, Takako concludes that this might be the end of Yuta Okkotsu. She has seen Kurourishi’s battles and he is notorious for devouring his opponents. Hence Takako believes that Yuta has no chance of coming out of this predicament.
However, to her surprise, Yuta has a Trump card left that he uses. He performs mouth-to-mouth energy transfer since Kurourishi’s brain is closest to his mouth. He sends positive energy and using his reversed cursed technique, he blasts Kurourishi.
Takako is a little bit surprised and the other spectator is also quite excited upon seeing Yuta Okkotsu’s shenanigans. Takako comes near Yuta and tells him in the ear that he could also use Reverse Cursed Technique.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 176 – What to Expect
You can expect Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 176 to be packed with a lot of action and drama. Even though Kurourishi is already defeated, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the fight is over. There are still two ancient sorcerers who were spectating the match earlier who are pretty much interested in Yuta.
In the last panel, the reality around Yuta started to distort and we don’t know what caused it. Hopefully, in the next chapter, we will have some answers and we will also get to see the next opponent for Yuta Okkotsu.
