He started performing pushups, lifting weights, and boxing, and even asked Channing Tatum for advice on how to approach his exercise routine.

I called Channing Tatum and asked, “Hey if I ate less and went to a trainer, will I get in better shape?” I wanted to get in better condition. Hill revealed this on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

However, the actor admitted to Men’s Health in 2018 that his battle with anxiety and his body image was never-ending.

In a statement to Deadline, he stated, “I have come to the conclusion that I have spent over 20 years battling anxiety attacks, which are aggravated by media appearances and public-facing events.

In order to help individuals move toward feeling better, Hill stated he wanted to make it “more normal for people to talk and act on this stuff.”
