Janet Judith Jones OM is a Canadian curler who was born July 7, 1974. As the skip for Canada’s curling team at the 2014 Sochi Games, she won the gold medal. Jones is the first woman skip to go through a game without losing. In 2010, Canadian Kevin Martin was the only man to do this. Jones and his team won an Olympic gold medal as the first curling team from Manitoba to do so. They were the first Canadian women’s team to win the World Women’s Curling Championship in 2008.
