Jaime Harrison Sets Congressional Fundraising Record With $57 Million Haul | National News

Jaime Harrisonthe Democratic nominee from South Carolina who’s ambitious GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham, increased 57 million from the third quarter this season — a record sum during that time period to get a Senate race,” Harrison’s effort declared on Sunday (Oct. 11).

He blasted the prior haul of $38 million by Democrat Beto O’Rourke at the next quarter of 2018, in his race against incumbent Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

“This effort is creating history since we are focused on reviving trust back to South Carolina. Following 25 decades in Washington,” Lindsey Graham has transformed into a person voters no longer comprehend, and such resources will likely be instrumental in our attempts to ship Lindsey house in November,” explained Harrison effort spokesman Guy King,” according to The Post and Courier.

Graham, that has become an undercover Donald Trump supporter from the Senate, hasn’t declared his third quarter fund complete. He’s appeared on Fox News to plead conservatives to finance his effort.

“I am becoming overwhelmed. Assist me,” he pleaded about atmosphere. “They are killing me, money-wise. Assist me. You assisted me last week help me .”

Graham functions as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and will be making every attempt to fulfill the vacant Supreme Court seat together with Trump’s nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

It is a shameless about-face from 2016. Graham affirmed GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s contentious decision four years ago to block confirmation hearings of President Barack Obama’s selection, Judge Merrick Garland, to substitute the late conservative Justice Antonin Scalia before the presidential elections.

Back then, the Republicans contended the newly-elected president must nominate a Supreme Court justice from the months before a presidential election.
