Married At First Sight’s Ivan Sarakula has admitted his tense showdown with Michael Goonan at the boys’ night almost led to a physical altercation.
The 30-year-old real estate agent told Hit Mid North Coast’s Krysti & Bodge on Tuesday that viewers didn’t see the full extent of their argument.
‘One thing they didn’t show is that [the other grooms] actually pushed me a little too hard, and I suggested we go outside and sort it out as men,’ he said.

‘Stop hiding behind the cameras sort of thing, let’s go take it outside. But you obviously didn’t see that part,’ he added.
Ivan said he was interrogated by the other men for ‘a good 40 minutes’ about his break-up with Aleks Markovic, and eventually reached breaking point.
‘I said what I had to say, and that didn’t stop Michael. My response was, “Keep going, buddy. Don’t let my exterior fool you. Let’s have a scrub out the front,'” he said.

The incredulous radio hosts then asked Ivan if he was serious about taking on Michael, 28, in a fight, and he said ‘absolutely’.
‘I was ready to go! I told him I was going to put a pool cue over his head,’ he continued.
Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight saw Michael and some of the other grooms confront Ivan about his abrupt exit from the show.
‘One thing they didn’t show is that they actually pushed me a little too hard, and I suggested we go outside and sort it out as men,’ he told the radio station
They also accused him of lying about his sex life with ‘wife’ Aleksandra Markovic, after supposedly admitting they had slept together in private and then denying it publicly at the group dinner party.
‘I don’t believe that I g’d you up to say anything at that dinner, alright? Now you can say otherwise…’ Ivan began in a tense confrontation at the boys’ night.
‘That’s alright. We started with lies, we can finish with lies,’ Michael interrupted him, leading to an awkward silence.
‘I said what I had to say, and that didn’t stop Michael, and my response was, “Yeah, keep going, buddy. Don’t let my exterior fool you. Let’s have a scrub out the front,'” claimed Ivan.
