Researchers with Halton Regional Police say they’re investigating what they think is really a homicide after a body has been discovered in Milton early that afternoon.
Authorities were called to the region of Guelph Line and Number 10 Negative Road at approximately 6 a.m. following the body of a dead man was located close to the junction.
Homicide detectives were then called into the scene.
At a news release Tuesday afternoon, authorities said they think the death is a homicide.
“A post mortem will be conducted in the Office of the Chief Coroner at Toronto but authorities believe the departure must be as a consequence of a homicide,” Halton authorities stated in the launch.
there isn’t any word up to now about the individuality of the man and authorities have not explained how he would have expired.
There’s been a significant police presence in the region for a lot of the afternoon and authorities are advising people to steer clear of the region.
There isn’t any known danger to public security, authorities said.
