A sequential fraudster was jailed for swindling over 47,000 by Gumtree sellers, while serving a suspended sentence for a series of scams.
Details of Bradley Thomas Anthony Strauch’s second largest spree – dedicated just eight months following his probation for a protracted scam spree back 2016 – have been disclosed at Brisbane District Court on Tuesday.
Last calendar year, Strauch obtained a suspended prison term for an extended set of frauds in 2016, which entailed posing as a physician to react to ads online classifieds site Gumtree.

Judge Tony Moynihan on Tuesday triggered Strauch’s staying suspended sentence and imposed yet another 18-month prison term.
Together with over a year worked behind bars, his parole eligibility date has been repaired from Tuesday.
