Game of Thrones prequel show House of this Dragon will be set to begin filming Watford next calendar year.
The series that will star Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, will likely be put a few 300 decades prior to the events of this HBO series.
House of the Dragon will take the acclaimed Leavesden Studios in Watford, moving out of Belfast, Northern Ireland, in which the majority of Game of Thrones shot within the previous ten years.
Further filming places have been yet to be verified, but manufacturing is defined to start in 2021, awaiting some 2022 launch date.
The series is going to be contingent upon Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin’s companion book Fire & Blood, that maps the growth of House Targaryen 300 years until Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys begins to fight to the throne.
King Viserys is explained as Martin’s novels as”a warm, kind and good man” who plans to take the throne”to take forward his grandfather’s heritage.”
An outline to your show adds:”But great guys don’t necessarily result in great kings”
Ryan Condal will be defined to write the pilot script House of the Dragon, together with Miguel Sapochnik (who headed’The Battle of their Bastards’ and’The Long Night’) attached to direct.
Martin will manage HBO’s return to Westeros as a manufacturer also. Stay tuned for additional updates on cast members along with shooting places since they arrive in.
