David Byrne has confessed that he has not read his former Talking Heads bandmate Chris Frantz’s memoir Remain In Love.
The group broke up in 1991, and have played once because, because of their induction to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame at 2002.
Talking earlier this season, Frantz was scathing about his former bandmate.
“It is a fact that his public image has shifted. But friends of mine promise me that he has not. I believe he probably just determined he might catch more bees with honey” he told The Guardian.
“Trust me,” he added,”if you understood David Byrne, you wouldn’t be envious of him.”

From the memoir, the sticksman also recorded the group’s final assembly and stated Byrne was exasperated the other members maintained their cool after he announced their separation, he cried:”You ought to be calling me an asshole.”
Byrne has responded by claiming to not have read Frantz’s memoir.
“Noooo,” he explained when asked about the publication, before adding:”I understood that when I read it I’d get asked regarding it. So I have prevented it.”
Byrne has dampened speculation regarding a Talking Heads reunion on several events — at 2017, he explained that the possibility of getting the group back together could”likely be [taking] quite several steps backward”.
Late last season, enthusiasts thought that a possible Talking Heads reunion was in the works, following the group seemed to launch a formal Instagram account. The account has not shared one place, and is not confirmed as of yet.
