Last month, Creeper’s singer May Gould shared a track-by-track video manual of the acclaimed new album,’Sex, Death & The Infinite Void together with NME.
At a four-star overview of this document, NME described it as”an ambitious and more comprehensive record”.
“Lyrically, the record follows a story of doomed love that ends in murder. Ostentatious narratives are not anything new to Creeper — they falsified their very own kidnapping from the accumulation 2017 introduction’Eternity, In Your Arms’ — however minus the fantastical narrative, those legends are tinged with a very real sense of catastrophe,” our critique said.
“…Turning their backs in their punk origins was a bet, but it is repaid. Next time round, anticipate Creeper to delve deeper into the rabbit hole, to melt the endless emptiness with much increased defiance.”
