SVU asked the show’s former star to give them so lighthearted entertainment as news is focused on the rising novel coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic.
And Christopher Meloni did not disappoint, sharing two different versions of his kilted outfit.
The 58-year-old actor’s chiseled abs stole the show in his shirtless pictures, posted to Twitter on Monday.
In a hotel room, Meloni posed in nothing but his red and green plaid kilt, that came just below his knee, and high, white tube socks.
The actor’s toned arms and abs clearly stole the show, in the photo.
He posted the shirtless picture alongside a more modest kilt look.
In the second photo, he wore the same kilt, with the white socks folded down meeting his brown wing-tipped shoes.
Meloni paired it with a white button up shirt, with ruffles up the center and on the cuffed sleeves.
He accessorized with red lensed sunglasses, and a leather bag hanging around his waist.
Longtime star: Meloni starred for 11-years as Det. Elliot Stabler on SUV before departing in 2011
With the photos he asked for input on his look, ‘Quarantine Kilt. With glasses or without,’ in response to a fan asking ‘Pause the news for a second.’
Meloni starred for 11-years as Det. Elliot Stabler on SUV before departing in 2011.
He is married to production designer Doris Sherman, who he shares daughter Sophia, 18, and son Dante, 16.
Meloni was included People magazine’s 2006 issue of the Sexiest Men Alive and proved 14-years later that he can still live up to the title.
