‘It wasn’t a Christmas album, it was just an album [I realised] in 1988…and I did all the background vocals on it myself,’ the 66-year-old said.
Kerri-Anne went on to explain the songs on her album, which included Reach Out by Four Tops and The Time of My Life by Bill Medley, were all her favourites.
After listening to the record, Kerri-Anne explained she wrote one of the songs on the album.

‘I Give You Love is on here and that’s the song I wrote for [husband] John [Kennerley] for our very first anniversary.’
‘I wrote it for him and because I was doing Good Morning Australia, I got a crew and I put on my wedding dress and waltzed through the park singing I Give You Love,’ she explained.
She continued: ‘And I just said to him as I left that morning “darling watch the show at five tonight” and I ran my own video.’
Throwback: Kerri-Anne also said she wrote one of the songs on the album for her husband John on their first anniversary. Pictured left to right: Joe Hildebrand, Angela Bishop, Kerri-Anne and Sarah Harris
‘This is exciting,’ Sarah said. ‘We need to do a special show [and] we need to get you back to the top of the pop [charts].
Her co-host Joe Hildebrand added: ‘If Mariah Carey can get to the top of the charts 20 or 25 years later then we can get you too.’
Kerri-Anne was married to her husband John for 35 years before he tragically passed away in February 2019.
