Billie Joe Armstrong announces 'No Fun Mondays' covers album

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has declared a record ridding his’No Interesting Mondays’ cover variations.

The artist started the weekly show at the start of the coronavirus-enforced lockdown back in March, also shared its own final instalment — a carry on Billy Bragg’s’A New England’ — in July.

Now (October 6), Armstrong has shown his’No Interesting’ album is going to be released around November 27, highlighting all 12 tunes from the undertaking.

The group contains’Manic Monday'(originally by The Bangles),’Kids In America’ (Kim Wilde) and also’Police On My Back’ (The Equals). It’s possible to observe the entire tracklist below.

A limited-edition, infant blue plastic of this’No Entertaining Mondays’ record, full with a glow-in-the-dark cover, are also available to buy via Green Day’s official website shop.

“While we have all been I’ve been reflecting on the things which matter the most in my entire life: family, friends, and, naturally, songs,” Armstrong explained in a declaration. “I guess if we must devote time in isolation we could be alone together.”
