Doing OK: The Bachelor star Michelle Money has given fans an update about the health of her 15-year-old daughter who was placed in a coma after a terrible skateboarding accident over the weekend
Better now: The reality TV star said her brain surgery to remove fluid went ‘great’
Michelle finished with: ‘Thank you again for the prayers. You will never know. ❤️ #prayforbrie.’
During the surgery Money was seen crying in a video shared to fans.
She said the procedure would take one hour and would remove fluid from the ‘stable’ teen’s brain with the aim of lowering the pressure inside her skull.
‘This is my worst nightmare and no mother should ever have to go through this,’ Michelle sobbed, in the video posted on Instagram.
Going strong: ‘Her numbers are in a really good place,’ began the concerned mom. ‘Two more days to let the brain swell up and monitor until taking her off of sedation to see what we find.’
She was alone as she waited for Brielle to come out of surgery, with coronavirus-related control measures at the hospital stating only one visitor was allowed per patient each day.
‘I’m alone because we can only have one parent here at a time because of the virus,’ explained Michelle. ‘And it’s really hard to be alone, during something like this.’
The hairstylist shares Brielle with ex-husband Ryan Money.
She explained she had the option to swap out with Ryan, every 24 hours, but wasn’t sure how she could bring herself to leave her daughter’s side.
‘Broken hearted that Brielle’s dad cannot be in here with me,’ said Michelle. ‘He has been sitting in his car in the parking lot not knowing what else to do. Only one parent at a time per 24 hour period due to the virus. I do not think I am capable of leaving her but her dad needs time too.’
The 39-year-old said Brielle was ‘doing well’ and ‘fighting’.
After surgery releases the pressure on the teen’s brain, Michelle said doctors could better asses her. ‘We can then see what kind of damage has been done and what we need to do.’
Michelle thanked her followers for their support, with messages of hope flooding in from her fans and fellow Bachelor World members alike.
‘I have just have so much more compassion for those of you who have been through something like this, it is heart wrenching,’ said Michelle.
‘Thank you for the prayers. We feel them. We see them working. Thank you for the messages. All of them. I see them all. So does Ryan and Mike and our families. I’ll keep updating.’
Thankful: She told her fans and followers their kind words were helping her
The former Bachelor star earlier shared a photo of Brielle in the hospital, where she has been placed into a medically induced coma after suffering trauma to her head.
Michelle wrote Monday morning: ‘Brielle was in terrible skateboarding accident and is in the ICU on life support. She suffered a serious brain trauma and a fractured skull. She is in a medically induced coma to relieve pressure in her brain. She is in amazing hands up at Primary Children’s Hospital.’
She continued, ‘Please- I am asking for prayers. I believe in the power of communication with whatever God you believe in.

‘She needs support and healing right now. And if you could send one up for me as well, I would appreciate it. This is the worst experience of my life.
Michelle also used the post to implore parents to ‘ALWAYS MAKE [your kids] WEAR THE HELMET. ALWAYS. EVEN WHEN THEY PUSH BACK.’
The former reality star revealed that it was by a stroke of luck that her neighbors, who were out on a walk on Sunday, discovered Brielle.
‘Thank you to the neighbors who happened to be on a walk and found her and called 911. You will never understand. I would not have found her in time. My heart is forever grateful.
‘Thank you to all of you who have sent prayers and messages and love. Brielle has been through so much already this year. She has proven how strong she is. I know she will pull through. #PrayForBrie’
Michelle’s partner Mike Weir shared the same photo of Brielle hooked up to the life support machines as he revealed that due to the coronavirus pandemic only one person is allowed in the room with the teen.
The pro golfer wrote: ‘She is in ICU at Primary Children’s and Michelle has been by her side all night — because of the COVID-19 precautions only 1 parent is allowed in the room.

The obviously distraught mother took to Instagram later to share a throwback video from before the accident.
She shared a sweet video of the mother-daughter duo dancing in her Range Rover along with a length caption.
Money wrote: ‘This was two hours before the accident. We decided to put makeup on and go to the gas station and grab a drink. I told her I would let her drive my car in the parking lot as she is working on driving soon. She told me she was awesome at parking! Lol!
