Airbus (OTCPK:EADSF) holds the strategy to make a new assembly line to get a 321 airliner at Toulouse, France amid coronavirus outbreak, reports Reuters.
The firm announced a brand new plant line in Toulouse, France since Germany plant was not able to accommodate A321 report requirement because of complexity involved and adapt additional hours involved with the manufacturing of the jet.
The firm proposed to convert A380 manufacturing plant at Toulouse, since the plant has been winding down, but because of fiscal pressures that the firm had to hold the creation of A321.
“Our strategies to get a 321 lineup in Toulouse are stopped, online hold,” that an Airbus spokesman supported.
“If we view speeds heading up again, we’ll reconnect to the programs.” Chief Executive Guillaume Faury told colleagues that Airbus could”hibernate” brand new investments to conserve money.
