Samsung is going to launch a new model of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and a recent rumor says that the new flagship model from the Galaxy S series will be called Samsung Galaxy S10 X. The new model will be a successor to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, as per reports.
Samsung has termed its new flagship as S10 X to represent the tenth anniversary of its Galaxy series and to indicate “eXperience” and “eXpansion.”
Recent rumors say that Samsung will ship the Galaxy S10 X in South Korea from March 29, but there are no reports whether Samsung will make its flagship model available anywhere else on that date. If earlier reports are to be considered then Samsung will launch the Galaxy S10 X only in South Korea and the US.
There have been reports that Samsung will also launch several other models a week before it will launch its flagship model on March 29. These models are said to go on sale in the country from March 8.
Being a flagship model of the Samsung S series, it is quite obvious that Samsung Galaxy S10 X would be on the higher end in terms of price. Rumors say that S10 X could range from 1.6 million won (around $1,430, £1,110, AU$1,980) to 1.8 million won (roughly $1,600, £1,250, AU$2,230).
As far as the rumored price of Samsung Galaxy S10 X is considered, it is just double the price for which Samsung is selling the Galaxy S10 Lite. At present, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is being sold between 800,000 won (roughly $710, £550, AU$990) to 900,000 won (around $800, £620, AU$1,110).
